Building to (BE)come Whole

On divine perfection, multifaceted expression, and finally, living in your life

My quest to fully embody building to become whole came about from my journey of healing to become whole and to fully accept myself. That journey, and the held space, has been led by a beautiful blessing of a soul, someone I get to call teacher, healer and friend. Babetza has been guiding me and holding my hand from the moment I began walking alongside her, through 'Transformational Therapy' and her 'Know Thy Self Workshop: Awakening to be your True Self'. What began as a journey to discover and unpack two words I landed on seven years ago (Divine Perfection), within a journey of being held in nurturing accountability, has become one path: healing to [be]come whole whilst building to [be]come whole, walking as one.

I would like to bring you into a chapter of the journey that has brought me to where I am now.

Fully embracing self.

[BE]ing in wholeness, childlike essence, whimsy, and learning to lead a life in love, joy, and nurturing accountability.

Here I am, meeting myself at this point of expression and many others, in the true form of being a multifaceted Queen. Here's to embracing and integrating building in wholeness this season.

A Moment to Hold Space and Gratitude

Today and every day is a great and beautiful day and week to be me. To show up fully as myself in it all.

Thank you, Lord, for the divine beauty and abundance that is me, uNontando. 🤍

The Fear Question

Have you ever been so consumed by the fear or terror of just being in your own life and living to experience it fully?

Absurd, right?

This is why we marvel. Why we are in awe. Why we borderline idolize others. And this was never meant to be a thing, by the way.

There's a distinct difference between acknowledging and affirming that you respect, honour, and see that soul for who they are and their divine expression, versus idolising and being engulfed in their world to the point of lowering your own divine essence and light.

You know why this happens? Because it's somehow hard for us to recognise and identify the divine light and beauty reflected back at us. And so we get stuck in that limiting belief, that invisible box we consciously or unconsciously settle into.

Why?

Because of the answer to the opening question: the fear of [BE]ing in your life and leading from that place of wholeness, allowing life to unfold as it's meant to be experienced.

The Achilles' Heel

The Achilles' heel in my world was never wanting to see myself. To acknowledge oneself. To honour who God created me to be. To recognise the grace that effortlessly flows within my life and has a rhythm to it.

I believed that when I showed up fully, wholeheartedly, with my everything and in my everything, it must be for others because it would "obviously" be reciprocated.

(Cues self-abandonment in HD.)

There's a truth to that. But "someone who held the powers", or let's call it what it is, whoever indoctrinated us, messed up the sequence slightly and missed an imperative part. We were never meant to be led by anyone but God. In rhythm. In flow. Co-creating our life experience with full autonomy.

And that imperative part, the anchor to all of this, is: leaning into our divine essence, which is the truest, most pure aspect of self.

Who you are as an extension of God, co-creating in choice in this life experience. Choosing to embrace it in understanding and reverence. To embody and integrate it.

It is the divine perfection that is you.

Divine Perfection

Divine perfection.

A reminder I wholeheartedly share because I needed not only to remind myself but also to believe it and fully embrace it. Because it has honestly been the hardest thing to consistently embrace and integrate.

The essence of this specific pairing of words represents truly seeing yourself in wholeness. The perfect expression.

I went on a quest to dig deeper, to understand these two words. The feeling was absolutely beautiful, but I just couldn't quite put it into words to explain its true essence. And so I needed to dig a little deeper within myself.

The Verse

It was the year 2019 when the words for this sacred reminder that I carry in my heart came to me. A desperate and vulnerable moment in my life. I needed to see myself in a different place and space where I could fully breathe. Where I would be able to express and explore my own divine light that was just screaming to be released, unshackled, to breathe and be brightly.

(Oh, Nana...)

As I was trying to make sense of these words, "divine perfection," finding the words to explain, I landed on a verse. A beautiful seed word.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

"My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, I gladly boast about my weakness (shortcomings, blind spots) so that the power of Christ may work through me and rest upon me."

Meeting Yourself in Wholeness

There is a sacred, divine beauty in allowing ourselves to lean into those shortcomings. Those blind spots. The shadows. The cracks.

Because then you not only get to deeply and truly meet yourself. You discover and begin to know yourself. You then get to show up divinely, in reverence and understanding of the divine essence that resides within you.

Meeting yourself in complete wholeness. Safe in who you are and the ever-evolving being that you are.

Shine your light, baby girl.

Shine your light, baby boy.

The Song

Remember the fear question in the beginning? Being in fear of living, embracing your life?

There's a song I want to leave you with.

Music and the words behind the instruments and melodies have honestly been my anchor and a source of healing. Almost like those personal love letters. A reminder... The gift that keeps on giving to my soul.

Discovering Zoe Modiga and Cleo Sol as I was in the depths of the healing, the depths of realising dreams and trying to allow them to be.

The song "Culasande" speaks to the bright-eyed, bubbly baby girl in me. Bursting. Eager to fly, to create, to express, to share, to use her voice. But every time, she would get stopped in her tracks. Her motion. Her rhythm. Her joy. Because of the illusions of the limiting beliefs, the unkind words that were spoken, the thief of the"imposter."

It was in this moment of experiencing this beautiful creation, this prayer in song, that it was time to move in this little girl's joy. uNontando's joy and bliss.

The Reminder

This memory is to remind you too.

To speak to yourself in love and kindness, okay?

Meet yourself where you are in absolute love, embrace, and a WHOLE lot of whimsy, lovely.

Remember: YOU are Divine Perfection.

Hold space for yourself today, lovely.
